The Center for Surrogacy & Egg Donation, Inc. is very proud of our strong working relationships with a number of world-renown fertility clinics. Below is a list of the fertility clinics (in alphabetical order) that our clients work with most often. The clinics websites have a substantial amount of useful information on the in vitro fertilization (IVF) process, egg donation and surrogacy. We have also included links to a number of websites with general information about the medical aspects of IVF, egg donation and surrogacy. The Center for Reproductive Medicine at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital’s website has very detailed information and videos about the egg donor process. You should be sure to visit the link to In Vitro Fertilization Information under the Information for New Patients heading. The Fertility Centers of New England website also provides some good information about their services including IVF and donor egg.

The Massachusetts General Hospital website has some very good information about infertility treatments, including IVF and donor egg.

This website has a good discussion of the IVF cycle process and includes a video that shows a day by day animation of a woman’s cycle while undergoing an IVF cycle. You should also click on the link to in vitro fertilization (IVF) which provides a good description of the IVF process.

This website has many great resources. The link to in vitro fertilization (IVF) provides a detailed discussion of how the IVF process works, including the egg retrieval process. This site also includes information about different medications that are typically administered to egg donors as part of the IVF cycle. Just follow the various links to in vitro fertilization, benefits and risks, and drug therapies (paying particular attention to the link for gonadotropins, as these are the medications used to stimulate a donor’s ovaries during an egg donor cycle). The link to Fertility Guidebooks also has a lot of very useful information. The most relevant of these guidebooks are Assisted Reproductive Technologies and Oocyte Donation.

Resolve is a leading infertility advocacy organization. We encourage our clients to visit the Resolve website for all kinds of information and to become members of Resolve.

Resolve of the Bay State- www.resolveofthebaystate.org

Resolve of the Bay State is the local chapter of Resolve and helps people in Massachusetts and New England. Resolve has a tremendous amount of information on their website. Resolve of the Bay State has frequent educational programs and discussion groups. We encourage all of our clients to become members of Resolve of the Bay State.

American Society of Reproductive Medicine- www.asrm.org

The ASRM website has information on all aspects of infertility and treatments, including egg donation and surrogacy. The best way to find information is to click the link to “Topic Index” toward the bottom of the ASRM home page. Particularly helpful is the Third Party Reproduction (Sperm, egg and embryo Donation and Surrogacy – A Guide For Patients Another useful resource is the patient facts sheets, including one on The Risks of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF ).

Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology - www.sart.org

SART is an organization of professionals dedicated to the practice of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including IVF. The “For Patients” link includes a step by step guide to the IVF process. Also, the SART website is the best resource to find information on particular fertility clinics, their contact information and success rates. To access this information, click on the IVF Success Rates tab and then Find a Clinic. That link will bring up a map of the United States. You can find all of the fertility clinics who are a member of SART in any particular state by clicking on the state.

American Fertility Association - www.theafa.org

The AFA is a organization devoted to infertility prevention, reproductive health and family building. The AFA website has a library with very helpful and informative information in their Fact Sheets. Topics include fertility medications, how to talk to children born through egg donation and/or surrogacy, information on gay and lesbian parenting.
